About Me – CoxieFM

Hey, I’m CoxieFM!

I’ve been blogging my Football Manager journey since 2020, and like many others, I was very active during the COVID days. What else was there to do? Plenty of time to lose sleep, ruin my tactics, bottle promotion and convince myself that the next save would definitely be the one!

I’ve been on and off the scene during FM26 after making the big decision to leave the Royal Navy following 20 years of service. A pretty big life change, to say the least! But now it’s time to get back to what I enjoy: Football Manager, blogging, sharing the highs and lows, and having a laugh along the way.

FM27 marks the return of CoxieFM!

Expect questionable tactical decisions, last-minute heartbreak, ridiculous transfer dealings, the occasional wonderkid discovery and plenty of banter. I’ll be sharing my saves, thoughts, stories and general Football Manager chaos. No promises of world-class management, just honest content from someone who probably spends more time tweaking tactics than actually watching the match.

Away from FM, I’m based in the Black Country, UK. I’m a proud Royal Navy veteran, a Walsall FC supporter (yes, football has tested my patience in more ways than one) and a McLaren fan in F1. So, between the Saddlers, papaya-coloured cars and Football Manager, disappointment is never too far away!

I’m here to enjoy the game, connect with fellow bloggers and creators, support the FM community and hopefully create a few stories worth remembering.

If you’re into Football Manager, love a bit of banter or just want to chat about saves, tactics and wonderkids, give me a shout!

The comeback starts with FM27. Let’s see how badly I can mess this one up.
